Lilli

How are today’s teens faring? Meet Lilli Womack. She’s 17 and a senior at Buhl High School. Some of her high school classes are dual college credit classes, thus giving her a head start for college. She wants to become a radiologist, following the medical field of careers on the maternal side of her family. Her senior project is a blood drive scheduled for October 22.

Lilli’s extracurricular activities include Girls State, FFA, track (discus and shot put) and a job at Kelly Oil. She also does seasonal work at Kelley’s Orchard. One of her passions is promoting Jae Foundation’s teen outreach program to prevent suicide. Another passion is photography and her photos prove it!

Lilli’s great-grandmother and namesake is Lillian Dana. Lillian was previously featured in The Buhl Banner in celebration of her 105th birthday. Lilli feels blessed to have the wonderful example of her great-grandmother and loves listening to her stories. The legacy continues as Lilli is close to her grandmother, Deloris, who taught Lilli to quilt, sew, and be a good person.

We can all rejoice with Lilli’s family that Lilli is a good person who reflects her family’s heritage of helping people, being good neighbors, and building up our community. Be blessed, Lilli, in all of your future endeavors.
